Our mission is essentially to collect, preserve, and disseminate the history of the Town of Eastchester. We maintain a research library on local history, and we maintain a collection of documents and ephemera from the Victorian era to the present. Our museum docent gives tours of an 1835 One Room School House to local schools.

The Edward Hopper House Art Center is a dynamic multi-arts center situated in the birthplace and childhood home of renowned American realist painter Edward Hopper (1882-1967). The Art Center presents art exhibitions featuring the work of emerging and established artists and juried theme shows in all styles and media. There are also programs and events for children and adults throughout the year, including an outdoor summer jazz concert series, Artists in the Park event, a December book fair, a monthly poetry workshop, drawing, painting, and photography classes, and much more.

In fitting with the works it houses, the Everson Museum building is a sculptural work of art in its own right. Designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei, the building itself is internationally acclaimed for its uniqueness. Within its walls, Everson houses roughly 11,000 pieces of art: American paintings, sculpture, drawings, graphics and one of the largest holdings of American ceramics in the nation.
