Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
History, Historic House, Historical Society
The Lowell Damon House, completed in 1847, is Wauwatosa, Wisconsin's oldest home and a classic example of colonial architecture. The rear five rooms were built in 1844 for Oliver Damon, who migrated to the Wisconsin Territoy from New Hampshire. In 1846, Oliver's son Lowell constructed the handsome front of the home. Guided tours for groups are available by appointment.
