Culture

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center is located in a Romanesque Revival building that originally housed one of the first brick graded school buildings in the South(1895). The building re-opened as a multi-dimensional regional facility in 1976.

The Morgan County African-American Museum is an institution dedicated to preserving African-American heritage and promoting awareness of the contributions the African-American has made to the culture of the South.
