Galesburg Civic Art Center

Galesburg, Illinois

Art, Culture

We are a non-profit visual art gallery located in Galesburg,IL, a town of 33,000. The building we occupy is over one hundred years old. The lower level is used to exhibit work in both a gallery space and gift shop. The ceiling is the original tin. The gallery features track lighting and soft grey carpeted walls. The gallery is a modern space which the town of Galesburg can be proud of. We hold 11 exhibitions a year in our gallery and have over 100 regional artists represented in our gift shop.

History, Historical Society

We are a new upstart museum focusing on Galesburg history, both from the people and culture of the town to the people and business's that made us what we are. We are still currently looking for more exhibits and welcome any one who wishes to exhibit. This is a departure from the house museum that we sold last year but we hope to fullfill our mission statement better in this forum
